Isaiah Kent-Schneider is passionate about effective science education. Through his experience teaching middle and high school science courses, he has seen firsthand the impact effective and sound science instruction has on students' learning, views of science, and effective engagement with science-society issues. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Science Education at Purdue University, where he teaches elementary and secondary science methods courses as well as courses within Integrated STEM education. He earned his Ph.D. in Education from Drake University and has six years of experience teaching K–12 science and integrated STEM courses in Iowa.
