"Dr. Amanda Townley exemplifies the best of science advocacy and education," said Scott Glisson, the CEO of AIBS. We are delighted to celebrate her leadership and her many contributions to our community."
"I am delighted and humbled to receive the Innovative Leadership Award from AIBS," Townley commented. "I take it not as a tribute to my efforts alone, but to the efforts of all of NCSE's staff, board of directors, collaborators, and members and supporters, as we work together to defend the integrity of science education across the nation."
