The second season of Safeguarding Sound Science — NCSE's podcast, intended to combat misinformation, disinformation, and misconceptions with actual science — is starting!
In the second season, devoted to evolution, Mat Kaplan (the former host of Planetary Radio) talks to scientists, researchers, and other experts as they dispel common misconceptions about evolution, discuss its sometimes invisible importance in our day-to-day lives, and marvel at the wonders of ongoing scientific discovery that help us piece together more of the evolutionary puzzle. The first episode — "Peter Hotez on Vaccines, Evolution, and Your Health" with Peter Hotez (coauthor, with Michael E. Mann, of the new book Science Under Siege) and NCSE's Wendy Johnson — is now available via all your favorite podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. New episodes will be posted weekly.
