Teaching human evolution in Alabama high school biology classrooms, co-authored by NCSE Executive Director Amanda L. Townley, examines the many factors in which evolution is learned and whether explicit efforts to try to reduce the conflict between evolution and religion in the classroom have been demonstrated to influence student understanding and acceptance of evolution.
